SONY to become Exclusive Global Imaging Provider for Associated Press (AP) Journalists

Sony Electronics (Sony) and The Associated Press (AP) have just announced a new collaborative partnership wherein AP will equip all its journalists in nearly 250 locations across 100 countries exclusively with Sony’s products. Essentially, going forward all of photos and videos coming from Associated Press journalists across the globe will be produced only with Sony’s incredible photography and video products.

The AP is one of the leading journalism organizations in the world and this is going to be massive win for Sony, which has been setting fire on the scene with its mirrorless lineup of products.

According to the press release issued by both companies, “A wide variety of Sony’s imaging solutions products will begin delivery immediately, including the full-frame mirrorless Alpha™ cameras, 4K XDCAM video cameras and an assortment of Sony’s 57 E-mount lenses including G Master™ models.
