For the first time in history, skateboarding will be featured at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, and directors like Hidenori Tanaka are seeking new and exciting ways to capture the sport. And what better way to showcase skateboarding, than to feature it in a lovely short film?
The short film, titled ‘DJI – Skating to Win and embedded for viewing above, is shot entirely with DJI products like DJI Phantom 4, DJI OSMO and DJI Ronin M. Takana and the other pro skaters he filmed for the short film discuss how DJI products like the Phantom 4 and Osmo offer the creative freedom to shoot skateboarding like never before. We’ve all seen hundreds of skateboarding videos uploaded to YouTube every month, but this short film is something special indeed.
