Sigma Releases Firmware Update v1.04 for the MC-11 Adapter

Corporation has released a new for its Adapter that converts Sony’s E-Mount to Canon’s EF-Mount, allowing you to use Sigma’s Canon Mount lenses (officially) and Canon’s own EF mount lenses (unofficially) with any Sony E-mount camera.

1.04 of the firmware is now available for download and includes compatibility for the following lenses:

  • SIGMA 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC MACRO OS HSM | Contemporary in SIGMA mount (firmware version 1.02).
  • SIGMA 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM | Contemporary in SIGMA mount (firmware version 1.01).
  • SIGMA 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC MACRO OS HSM | Contemporary in SIGMA mount (firmware version 1.01).

Before you run off to update the firmware for the MC-11, make sure that the SIGMA Optimization Pro app on your computer is running version 1.4.1 or later for Windows, and version 1.4.0 or later for Mac.
