Camera gear and lenses are expensive… we all know that. And we all take good care of our gear, probably more than our own lives. But luck doesn’t always ride with you, does it? There are times when your luck just goes for a walk, leaving you holding your head, with your mind going, “Why the fuck did that have to happen to me?”
That’s what happened to Jon Devo, who posted this photo of a broken Sony 500mm f/4.0 A-mount lens worth a whopping $13,000.
Oops! We hope he had insurance for that.
